Kindergarten - Mrs. Popovici

 

Welcome to Mrs. Popovici's Manatee Classroom

   Mrs. Popovici has been teaching at Chatfield School since its beginning in 1997.  She has been involved in educating young children since she graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. degree in secondary education.  She received her elementary certification from Indiana University in 1993. She has 24 hours in Early Childhood Education.  She is working towards her Masters in Reading and Math.

Mrs. Popovici has been married to her husband Nick for 36 years and has 3 children. Her husband is in sales.  Her oldest son, Nick is in risk management for GMAC and is married to Deena.  They live in Waterford. Her daughter Katie is married to Jack and have a little girl named Abbey Jean. They will add a new addition to their family in May. They reside in Grosse Pointe Woods.  Her youngest son, Andrew, recently graduated from Albion College in International Finance and Economics and is working as a district manager for Chyrsler.

Mrs. Popovici enjoys working with children, spending time with her family and reading.
