Welcome to Mrs. Boyle's Classroom!
I am looking forward to the 2010-2011 school year.
Here are some fun ways for you to start preparing as well...
About Mrs. Boyle...
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school. In the "All About Me" book that my parents saved, my two choices for a future occupation were to be a teacher or work at the McDonald's drive through window. Although I never had the privilege of working the drive though window at McDonald's, I have worked in several restaurants over the years. However, teaching was always my ultimate goal. In order to achieve that goal, I earned a bachelor's degree in Education with a focus in Mathematics and English from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. I recently earned a master's degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. My goal is to daily express my passion for learning and creatively pass on that passion to the students. In addition to being blessed with an awesome job, I am also blessed with a wonderful husband who shares my passion for teaching. He teaches physical education for sixth through eighth grade in Waterford. We have three exciting and incredible children. Our oldest, Owen, starts kindergarten this year. We are very excited! Our daughter, Anna, is three years old and our other son, Greyson, just turned one. Every day is a new experience with them and we love it!
This is a picture of my three kids...it is very hard to get a picture of all three of them looking at the camera at the same time! My husband and I are on the right.
I enjoy spending time with family, camping, canoeing, sewing and watching movies. I love to sing and am currently serving as a worship leader at Oakwood Community Church.
